About the Foundation
Family & Children’s Services Foundation is committed to supporting local families facing challenges and ensuring children, youth, and parents have access to the supports, and resources they need. We support programs and services that put prevention first, focus on strengthening families and helping children and youth heal and grow.
Children and youth are our ‘why’ and we know, through research done right here in Waterloo Region, what we need to do to reduce the risk for the well-being and safety of children and youth. Research shows that it takes a caring community to help children, youth and families, no matter the challenges they are facing. Thanks to our caring community we are able to develop and support programs and services that focus on prevention and allow children and their families to stay together and thrive.
